ArborGen (NZX: ARB) – Update on Hurricane Helene impact

ArborGen is assessing the impact of Hurricane Helene and confirms that its FY25 crop is mostly unaffected, with minimal crop damage sustained at the Bellville Nursery, protected by ArborGen’s container planting investment. However, there was some damage at two smaller orchards, representing c 30% of the company’s FY25 coastal Mass Control Pollinated Loblolly Pine Seedlings, which will have an impact in future years on the expected seed harvest. It is too early to know exactly what the overall impact will be but ArborGen confirms that it has sufficient inventory to meet projected customer demand.
